I've managed to take the baare necessisites, and a little bit extra! Have a good two weeks and I'll post photos when I return! xxx

Shoe fetish!

Today I decided to leave the house, instead of being a couch potato, and hit the summer sales that are slowly beginning to try and find some swimwear and other holiday basics as I'm heading to L.A. and New York next week, yay so excited! However, I got slightly distracted from purchasing holiday stuff and ended up buying not one, but two pairs of shoes! One pair from All Saints and the other from Bertie. I'm not sure which one I prefer, but I just wore the black and blue ones, and I don't think I'll be taking them with me on my holiday, unless I know I'm only going to be walking for less than 5 mins. Fingers crossed the other ones will be slightly more comfortable.

Xmas come early?

I'm not usually a fan of red, but this outfit is just adorable. It reminds me of something that I would see around Christmas time, so to see a look like this during the summer makes my day! Def a look to copy, 'dressy' dresses toned down with a boyfriend blazer. THUMBS UP!

Has summer come and gone?

Whilst browsing the net, I just came across the Topshop AW 08 lookbook. Slightly disappointed to think that I am looking at items that will be in the shops in the coming months, before we have had any sort of summer, but oh well that's fashion for you. Here are my picks of some of the best items in the collection, but there are many more so get looking.

Body Con!

When I saw this picture of Rachel Bilson, I was slightly surprised because I can't really remember seeing Rachel in such a tight, figure hugging dress, however, she still looks great. Not sure about the shoes, but thumbs up for the Herve Leger dress. I'm yet to see someone that doesn't look great in this label. What do you think, does Rachel suit this very 'Hollywood' look?

Ashley sticks to what she does best!

In comparison to her sister's style, Ashley Olsen likes to play it slightly safer, but she most defientley looks stylish and sophisticated everytime. Ashley has got the androgenous look perfected, as seen in this latest pic of her. Though it is similar to other things she has worn, this still manages to excite me. This look is very easy to re-create and can be worn in the day with gladiator flats or in the evening with some heels. Her extremely clear looking skin maybe slightly harder to get though! Yet again, another amazing look.

LTD 100

Asos teamed up with the London College of Fashion this year to sell 100 limited edition pieces from the final year students shows. The pieces were launched at 1pm, and whilst I write this post at 1.09, most of the items have sld out already, pretty fast if you ask me, but not a surprise. Some of the items were really nice, including the purple and orange tulip dress, the feathered corset and a floral high waisted skirt. If any of you were lucky enough to bag one of them items, do let me know!

Lola's Cupcakes!

I know cupcakes don't really have much to do with fashion but everytime I see a Lola's cupcake, I always think the complete opposite. They are so cute and taste amazing, and they seem to be 'the' cupcake in my opinion, so I just felt I had to blog about them. Everytime I pop to Selfridges, London I always head to the food counter on my way out and purchase 6 of these little treasures, in all colours possible. My favourite is the vanilla cupcake with bright pink buttercream and little sugar hearts, oh my mouth is watering just thinking about them. Above is a picture of their latest Fathers Day designs, not that my dad would appreciate them lol. So guys, if you ever head down to London and want a funky fashionable cupcake, head to Selfridges!

Bag Borrow or Steal?

Now that I have no exams, or infact anything to do, I finally went and saw Sex and the City last night. Having been slightly too young when the series was shown on the TV, I didn't quite know what to expect apart from great clothes and sex! Apart from being slightly 'cheesey' in places, I have to say I loved the film, or maybe the clothes more. All of Carries outfits and her shoes and bags made be feel envious, ggrrr, I WANT THEM ALL. Especially the LV clutch that she wore at the end whilst at the hospital and her orange Fendi Clutch (maybe because I have the same clutch in Tortoiseshell lol), infact the list is endless.

Jennifer Hudson played the role of Carries assisstant in the film, a designer obsessed person, but without the salary to fund her love of LV bags and Manolo shoes, so it got me thinking, would you hire bags from websites such as Bag Borrow Steal? I'm not sure if I would like the responsibility of looking after a bag that I didn't own, but the concept is excellent and now I'm kicking myself for not coming up with the idea.

I've been Tango'ed!

Having been obssessed with green from colouring my hair green to wearing green nail varnish, everything was green, but that phase looks like its fading, and orange is turning to be my new fav colour. I will still hold a special place in my heart for green lol, but I'm going to be adding more orange into my wardrobe. Here are my picks of the best orange items.

1. American Apparel Tee.

2. Topshop Senorita Shoe.

3. Marc Jacobs Quilted Clutch.

Glasses for the fun of it?

On the runway of Luella, we saw loads of the model's working the 'geek-chic' look, and many were wearing large black rimmed glasses, that your dad would have worn in the 70's. Yesterday, whilst browsing the rails of Topshop, and unusually stopped at the sunglasses section, just to see is there was anything worth my while and my eyes were immediately drawn to these plastic lense glasses. I'm not quite sure why, seeing as I spend a fortune on contact lenses in order to avoid wearing my glasses, yet I want to buy them, as you can see I am in quite a predicement! But for £15 I think it's acceptable. Don't you?

I just came across this jacket from Topshop. In my opinion, it would be a great addition to my wardrobe, however, I'm not sure it is a key investment piece that will last more than one season. The colour and cornelli detailing make this jacket look expensive, and I think it would look great teamed with a black jeans, but seeing as funds are low, I'll have to think hard before I purchase. What do you think, should I make the purchase?

Thank you bloggers!

Last year, whilst browsing pictures of MK on the net, I came across the above picture. I loved everything about it, from her hair to her funky quilted jacket to her beautiful shoes, I just knew then I needed a pair. The months passed, and still I hadn't seen anything similar in the shops, so I gave up looking. That was until I started becoming some obsessed blogger!

Having visited any blogs, I noticed one thing in common....all of you had the Nine West Heech Sandals, and yes they looked exactly like the ones worn my MK. My heart sunk as I searched high and low for them in the UK, without any luck. But, thanks to my beloved affair with ebay, I have managed to find a pair (and guess the correct size). They arrived this morning, and I am officially addicted. So a big thank you to all my fav bloggers out there who introduced me to these. I love themmmmm!

Kelly-O rocks stripes!

How amazing does Kelly look in this dress. Ever since she moved to the UK, this gyals style has improved ten folds.

Horizontal stripes are difficult to wear, unless your a size 0, but Kelly looks great. Will you be wearing stripes this season?
Update: This dress is from PPQ, £95.

Exams are finally over!!!

My exams have finally finished! Yay, at last. It's funny how one week of exams seems to go on forever, but on a sad note, I'm not longer a student, so whilst I sit here and contemplate what career path to follow, I thought I'd update. Heres a few pictures my boyf took when I was extremely drunk (excuse the poor quality)!
Tee, Gap. Bandage skirt, Topshop. Denim Jacket, Topshop. Shoes, Kurt Geiger.
NB- two weeks ago, whilst trying to distract myself from revision, I went on a short walk to the local supermarket. Little did I know, that fate was opposed to me leaving the house and I fell down whilst crossing the road (haha, don't ask how). Since then my knees have been constantly bruised, hence the extreme darkness on my knees lol. That'll teach me to stay in and revise....oooppsss.....I forgot, I don't ever have to take another exam again!

MC does Sex and the City!

Marie Claire does Sex and the City in four different ways. Each of the starlets have their own cover this month. Which one is your favourite?

Glamour Awards 2008!

Here are the best dressed from last nights award ceremony! I'm trying ever so hard to pick a favourite but theres just too many to choose from. Daisy Lowe, Alexa Chung, Estelle, Erin O'Connor and Fearne Cotton are some of my favourites!

Who do you think stole the show last night?

MK is Elle's cover girl!

MK is on Elle's July cover looking sweet and innocent in a blue puffball dress. I love her belt and all the necklaces she is wearing. In the interview she talks about Ashley, her style and sexiness!

On Ashley: “We don’t agree all the time. The way we go about business or designing or making a decision is that we come at it from two completely different angles that at the end of the day, even when we don’t think we’re agreeing with each other, we are agreeing. We’re just getting there in different ways. Unless you’re a twin, you honestly can’t know how close twins can be. There’s such a strength, but that also makes it…” Her voice trails off. “When there’s that much love there’s…Well, there’s the opposite of everything, but it stems from love, and it stems from passion. We’re driven people. I do know I can’t work in an office. Ashley, on the other hand, loves going to an office.”

On being sexy: “I feel like I can be sexy when I want to be,” she says. “I think all women are sexy. Some may feel it more than others. I personally think the women who are the most sexy are the women who are truly themselves, whatever that may be.”

On her fashion: “I don’t know—you’re either on the worst-dressed list or you’ve started a fashion trend. I think there’s a real disconnect between the media’s perception of fashion and the fashion world’s idea of fashion. I don’t know why I wear some of the things I wear. I like wearing crazy things sometimes. I like being playful. Sometimes I feel like I’m playing dress-up and becoming a character. It’s sort of like an art. It can change your mood or the way that people are attracted to you.”

MR. Ashley Olsen

Ashley does masculin tailoring at last nights CFDA fashion award ceremony. I like the top half of the outfit, but the un-manicured toes and trousers aren't doing it for me. The blouse and blazer teamed with a skirt would have looked better in my opinion. Overall, not the best from Ashley, but she gets credit for trying.

Neon Green Nails and Cut out dresses!

Rhianna looks fab in this grey dress and funky neon green nails at yesterdays MTV awards. I love her original sense of fashion (or maybe her stylists) and that she hasn't conformed to the 'normal' L.A. style! Barry M does a brilliant neon green nailvarnish that I used to wear all the time, I thinks I better go dig it out again.
Will you be doing neon nails this summer?

Ashley Olsen does simplicity at its best!

Love this look from Ashley Olsen!!!
